I own a 2004 VW Golf 4 door my power windows, power locks, and interior light don't work. Fuses? and which 1?

Even with my key remote, the doors wont lock? could it be the battery in the remote?

  1. Look in your owners manual. If you do not have one go to any auto parts store and get a Chilton's Auto Book for your year of car they run about 20 or 30 bucks and are life savers.  


  2. The fuse for the comfort control module has blown.

    But be careful, it blew for a reason.  I replaced a fuse once and as I put the new one in it blew and it fused back together and melted the fuse box.  It turned out that the light on the bottom of the right rear door had fallen out and the door had been closed on it.  Causing a short to ground.
