  1. That's exactly what the lady that spun out in front of me, causing me to smash into her thought.

4 wheel drive does allow you to get more traction, but can't help you control the vehicle any easier.

You should always keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and drive at a speed that you can control.

If someone is going super slow, then go ahead and pass, but your taking a chance that they might lose control too.

  2. So do I and 4X4 means if your speeding to pass me and hit your barakes all 4 of your wheels lose control. But I'd be more than happy to pull you out of the ditch.

  3. yes just don't come flying by...you could still land in the ER!!  just bc it is a "4X4" doesnt mean it will keep you from hitting ice!

  4. Courtesy says no, you may have more traction control with a 4x4 in a forward motion but you can't stop or maneuver any faster.

  5. 4 Wheel drive only means you are less likely to get stuck.  You do not have much better stopping ability .   You can still get turned around just as easily as a car when the roads are slick.

E=MC^2 is still working against you.

  6. Yes, if you think you can, I got full size 4x4 too!!!!
