Question:

I own a naturist group. We are not a sexual group, but the sponsored ads are all sexual and use foul language.

How can this be changed? It would be better to sponsor with outdoor ads or vacation ads. Naturists like to sunbathe and swim. They like to visit resorts and beaches, hike and camp.

  1. Complete the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .  As you're filling out the form, include in your answer to # 5 the things you mentioned here (esp. not a sexual group, better to sponsor with outdoor ads or vacation ads).


  2. Trythis,.  First you must remove any x's  if you have  on your cover page. Click on management, left side of your cover page , click on group settings , membership and appearance, scrowl down to category click on edit, and follow the prompts to change your category. I hope that works for you.

  3. because nakedness is still viewed as freakish, especially with the world being obsessed with por n, dont  you think it has something to do with s ex.......you live a very sheltered life if you you can't see that.

  4. Yes most people get the wrong idea,about people who don't like clothing. It's one of those(" if I have to explain it you wouldn't understand") kind of things.

  5. if Yahoo considers that an adult group, nothing you can do. they base this on who can access just any group and under aged kids getting to them.

    some group topics, that's just the way it is. ignore the ads

  6. I'm assuming your talking about a website.  It all depends on your hosting.  Contact your customer support for either your hosting or your advertising.  You may be able to change the category of ads or ban certain types from displaying on your site.
