I own a red, Vauxhall Astra Sport 5 - door 1.8 16v hatchback 1999?

Question

Can't find it on any site checked. What do you think it may be worth, its recently had a new gear box installed and MOTd for 6 months, taxed for 6 months. Do you think it may be imported? I would appreciate any help at all, as I have to sell it. Credit crunch !! Registered 16/09/1999

hi its probably worth no more than £5000 because of people havn't got any money to spend because of the reseccion

check out www.autotrader.co.uk - you can compare against other cars with similar models and mileage etc.  I had to sell my 2ltr Audi A4 recently because I was sick to death of putting petrol in - it was costing about £45 a week!  I sold it for £5k (it was a 2004 registration.  That was a real bargain price however, if you want shot of it that's what you need to do.  People just don't want big engined cars especially petrol ones.  I now have a 97 Corsa  1.2ltr 3 dr - a little black beauty - I got that at a bargain price too because no one is buying cars!   So far I have done over 250 miles for less than £40! Basically, I can get to work for a whole month for £40 - what would have costed me for one week in my Audi!  OK, so I need a strong tail wind to get up a hill now but hey, the saving in petrol is well worth it!

To be honest not much depending on condition a grand or 2 if ur lucky, and there hard to sell at times like this, took me 2 months to get rid of a year old harley on ebay for a bargain price !!!! ! ! ! !!!!
