  1. Call Ancestry.com's 800 telephone number: 1-800-262-3787.

  2. www.family search.com (the LDS church genealogy site, very easy to use and free)

http://genforum.genealogy.com/ ( as the link says, this is a forum whre you can ask and answer questions pertaining to your genealogy search)

  3. If you just paid for a US membership on ancestry.com, that is the only one you can go to without paying another fee to  use their British site, for example. If you paid for a World membership, you SHOULD be able to visit all their sites with just the one user name and password--providing your membership is still current and/or hadn't been cancelled.

I have a world membership and it costs me $29.95 a month, which is automatically withdrawn from my credit card unless I write in or call to cancel it. But, I think it is worth every penny (sometimes I can't find diddly squat on someone on their US site, but can find tons on their Canada, UK, or even German sites). Like the first lady says, if all else fails, call the 800 number she listed.
