  1. I usually rip off as much as I can, then sand any remaining paper and touch up the area with paint.

I've often had problems with paper sticking.  One way to remedy this is to make a "nail" bed to place the object to be painted on (partially hammer long nails (so they are sticking up) into a board as the base... object lays on top of the nail heads... usually placed every inch or so, covering the entire board).  Paint the object, and you won't have anything for the paint to stick to!

    Good Luck!  ;)

  2. find a paint thinner/remover for the specific type of paint and scrape off the mess with a putty knife as paint becomes liquid again

  3. rip as much of the newspaper off as you can. Take a paper towel and dab some olive oil on it. Take the paper towel and start to semi scrub at the newspaper. The oil will losen the newspaper and prolly wont do any damage to the wood. U can use a credit card as well. Dab some olive or vegetable anything that you have that is grease based and then try scraping at it.
