I parked in a taxi rank and got a fine?

i didnt kno this and got a letter today sayin i have to pay 70 pound fine, i didnt even kno i had a fine cus i didnt have a sticker on my car or a letter tellin me so i missed the deadline for a 50% reduction. can i ring them n explain this or do i have to pay 70?

I am glad to hear that you got fined, people like you make it hard for myself and other taxi drivers to make a living.

Just pay the fine and stop complaining.

You parked illegally and now you have to pay. It is part of growing up and driving. But what ever you do, do not write them a letter your spelling is terrible.

You were simply disrespectful of the situation .... it's a bit like able bodied people parking in disabled bays who don't give a toss.  I suggest that you simply pay the fine and move on ... experience will tell you not to do it again ...

It's a standard ploy to pretend you never saw the ticket or "someone must have ripped it off", not even original.  They won't believe you. You committed the offence, you have to pay.  Next time don't park where it's forbidden.
