I payed for an item on ebay but it keeps on telling me that is pending?

From what I know about Paypal, there are 4 possible reasons for payment pending. Either it was your first purchase using Paypal and the transaction has to be verified either with your bank or visa or you did not have sufficient funds in your Paypal account nor in your bank account or you made payment with an E-cheque which would take several days for funds to clear or the person you are paying does not yet have a paypal account and is required to accept the pending payment before it clears.
