I peroxide safe for my hamster?

my hamster has a cut on his leg. i dont know if its infected or not. its kind of crusted around the cut. will peroxidehelp the cut?

HP will not harm. Let it bubble up then gently blot it off followed by triple antibiotic ointment 3x per day.

I would clean the wound with warm water and yes you can dab a lite amount of peroxide on the area. Let it bubble then wipe it off. Then I suggest putting a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment on the cut. It will help it heal and hopefully keep infection away. Just apply some of the ointment on it everyday till it heals

I suggest you take your hamster to the vet immediatly! NEVER use things on animals unless you know it won't harm them!
