I phone or blackberry?

I am getting my upgrade on 02- I wanted to know which type of phone was. Lastest blackberrry or i phone?

I am waiting for the new 3G iphone as it is wifi, and a lot cheaper. It is out the 11th July, you can pre order on line on the o2 website to get it on the day it comes out. I have pre ordered mine. I find the Blackberry has too small keys.

Emailing functionality is unsurpassed when it comes to the BlackBerry. The iPhone has been reviewed countless times and I have read too often that extended periods of typing on the software keyboard are unpleasant and erratic at best. A hardware keyboard is about as simple as it comes. Mindless typing guided by intuitive fingers versus concentrating on every letter to make sure the spastic iPhone hasn't misinterpreted your input? Not a tough decision.

I spent several hours as the owner of an iPhone. It went back because the d**n thing just stressed me out. And I'm 25 so there's no issue with unfamiliar technology (I've been a Mac user since the IIe). The BB is a business tool with a fantastic camera and great call quality. The iPhone's camera is grainy and the whole device is a toy. Plus, the lag when opening programs is almost the entire deal-breaker for me. I need something that can keep up!

Shell out the extra cash for a BB and you won't regret the purchase. If you want an Apple product, buy one of their computers. That's what they do best.

Hi there - in your second note you asked which is best for general use, music and emailing.

My opinion is that the IPhone would suit you better.  Its by far the absolute best for music and texting.  The next generation due out on the 11th July will be able to work with Microsoft Exchange and this will mean it will be better than Blackberry.

Its interface and screen are next to none and it functions very well indeed.

So I think your best option is Iphone, let us know what you decide

The phone for the best for regular use, music and emailing is the iPhone. Just wait 'till the iPhone 3G, with speeds twice as fast as the original, it'll be $199 for 8GB and you'd have great features such as web browsing, app downloads, music downloads, email and much, much more.

Blackberry is the best choice. The Iphone has a lot of extras but the main thing, the phone is very crappy

depends on what you want it for,if you want it for the msuic get the iphone vut if you want it for emailing/texting or if you do alot of emailing/texting , the blackberry curve is better than the iphone at that because the keypad is so good and people say the iphone touch screen keypad is hard to use and really slow to type on,the blackberry has a media player to its just not as good as the iphone since its basically an ipod,so overall if your into texting and emailing get the blackberry but if your not the iphone would fit you.
