  1. First - don't put alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on it. That dries it out.

Second - don't take it out. If it's infected then that can trap the infection in.

Now, take away the bactine. That is way too harsh for new piercings. Don't twist it, don't touch it unless you're cleaning it. And always wash your hands before cleaning it. It is best to do two sea salt soaks a day for ten minutes each...1/4th of a teaspoon of noniodized (this is a must) sea salt to 8oz of hot water.

  2. Probably best to take it out, you may have an allergic reaction to the type of metal you put into your skin. However, you could try to wait it out, may be okay, may worsen. Just be careful...

  3. Use alcohol to clean it. If you start to notice pus you need to go to the doc and get antibiotics. Your best bet would be to take it out and when it heals have it done professionally.

  4. DONT PUT ALCOHOL OR PEROXIDE ON IT!!!! use salt water on it, before you go to bed and when you wake up and maybe once in the afternoon if you can. go get H20 ocean, it is the best stuff on the market for tattoos and piercings. alcohol and peroxide will only continue the infection

  5. you should have just paid to get it done.
