  1. That depends on how much was bet on the horse to place. The odds are only given for win. I have personally bet on a horse that paid only $2.10 to win but $2.40 to place.

Affirmed against Sirlad and Good Lord.

The odds for each position are determined for that position, the odds to win do not affect the payout for place or show or vie-versa

  2. Look at the odds. The horse wasn't Eight Belles. She went off at 12-1. This horse went off at 20-1.

Don't make assumptions unless you know what you're talking about.

  3. The 20-1 odds is for win only. Place & Show money is in a seperate pool. That money is shared by the Place and Show bet pools.

  4. Who really cares? Is your money worth the life of a horse?

  5. You should care more about the horse that died then your stupid money

♥ You all know me as Jennifer Jeter but for today my name is honoring the horse that died in the Kentucky Derby ♥

  6. I think you win 200.00 !!
