I plan on purchaseing a blackberry curve for high school either from verizon or t mobile.I only want to pay the normal 40 or 30 dollars a month. I plan on using it ONLY for calling, occational texting, and keeping informational on the curve's callendar and note taking section.I DONT want to use email or the internet on the phone. Can i bypass the extra blackberry plans that cost in excess of 35,40 dollars a month? Also,is this phone too feminine for a guy.It would be in the titanium color. Finally, can i pay per use of internet and email.Oh and if i buy a phone in the vstore do I have to pay retail?

  1. if you are not going to use the berry  for  what  it was made for  DONT GET IT  get a blackjack or some other lame phone.  get a text friendly phone

  2. dont get it from verizon if you don't plan on using the internet/mail features, because once u purchase the phone, verizon automatically activates those features and you will be billed an extra $45 a month.....you should rather go with t-mobile and at&t before verizon buys is out....the phone is not feminin, the only way it would be feminin is if you bling it up......yea, if you dont have verizon, you can always do a pay per use, but with verizon as soon as you use the feature, they start billing you the $45 a month...hope this helps
