Question:

I plan to self-study Port, can anybody tell me where to find a good book to start with?Also a vocabulary book?

I´ve been to saravia but found only 1 exercise manual,they dont even have the textbook.I was told everybody else is learning the other way around(English) so pls help as to where i can get ahold of level 1 port book.

  2. I have been learning from Portuguese in 10 Minutes and Living Language books and cd's.  I heard Rosetta Stone is very good.  Portuguese for Dummies or Idiots (whichever) has been helpful also.

    Make sure you get the verb conjugation book.

  3. There is a good learning material that´s called Avenida Brasil, it has a quite old methode, but is in my opinion the best one. You can find it everywhere. I use it to teach portuguese in europe.
