I plan to visit Rome first week of June. what is weather like by then. Have suggestion on type of clothes?

It's warm. I was there during that time three years ago, most days I wore shorts, but there were some times at night that I needed a sweatshirt. It's beautiful there, enjoy!

june should be getting hot in rome.  its gonna be hot and idk about humidity it could be one day and not another. you should bring lots of t shirts shorts and everything summer because by that time the weather is gonna be perfect for summer.  just wear  summer clothing and you ll be fine

Rome will be warm the first week of June.  You will need a light jacket for the evening.  Shorts and t-shirt will do just fine for the day.  You will be there at the most perfect time.  July and August are way too hot.

Enjoy a nice evening stroll in Rome and definitely try some gelato!

it's going to be a dry hot sun, take your summerwear, you might want to also take some sweater for night might be cooler. God Bless

HOT! Around that time it starts to become SUMMERTIME!

Bring a swimsuit, shorts, tanks etc. Bring a jacket just in case!

Roman summer is warm so pack comfortable clothes that you can walk in around the city.  Keep in mind that so many of Rome's  attractions are religious in nature and therefore tank tops and short shorts are not appropriate.  As mentioned by other respondents, a light jacket for evening will be useful.

i went to italy in June 2005 and it was warm. I wore shorts most of my stay.
