Question:

I planted some seeds in a pot and today when i went to water it all the seeds was on top of the muck should i

put them back under the soil or is it ok.

i can see there is something growing out the seeds but they are just sitting on top of the muck should i put them back under the muck

  1. Please cover the seeds and protect them from the periodical "inspections"--probably the squirrels were searching for the edible roots.

    I hope it helps.

Lots of times shallowly planted seed will get washed to the top when you water.  Don't try to push them back down because you will probably break the sprout.  Simply cover them with a bit more soil and water more gently.  If they have been planted awhile make sure it isn't simply the hull of the seed you see on the end of the sprout.  If that is the case you don't need to do anything except watch them grow.
