  1. They just like eating your plants try to find a good organic pest control spray bottle and it should help your watermelons.

  2. OW LAWD, IS DAT SUM WATERMELONZZ?

  3. spray the plants with dish soap and water, mix it up in a spray bottle. Thats will work and not harm your plants.

  4. The ants may be eating the black bugs you may have to use a pesticide if the problem escalates or before it does. Some times early attention can reduce the amount of spays/chemicals needed later on. Charcoal and fine dusts can discourage ants and other insects. (Garlic pulp in a bit of water poured on plants. Organic:-)

  5. Aphids  feed on almost all garden crops, they transmit viruses and diseases from plant to plant as they feed, you will see clusters of them on unopened flower buds and the underside of leaves. They produce thousands of young in a short period of time and secret a sweet (honeydew) sticky residue which ants feed on. The honeydew residue can also cause a fungus known as sooty mold, it will cover the leaves and turn them black. The presence of ants is an indicator that your plants are infected. Mix a squirt of liquid dish soap and water in a spray bottle and liberally spray all parts of your watermelon plants, especially the underside of the leaves.

  6. Use pesticides
