  1. Remove it, then replace it immediately after the match.

  2. take it out and leave it out

  3. You need to make a choice - either the ring stays and you don't play rugby, or the ring goes and you play rugby. You can't have both..........

  4. dude that sucks.

first of all its bloody. you should take it out.

if you keep putting tape over it its going to get infected as you said its still new.

either you have the option to keep it and have the chances of it getting torn out or take it off

  5. When someone is going to tackle you say nooooooo i have a piercing... and make sure you play in the backs, so you dont do any of the dirty work :P

  6. unfortunatly, your only real option right now is to take it out and leave it out. maybe you can get it repierced over summer when it has time to heal or at a time when you're not playing for a few months. if you tape it, at some point, it could get ripped out, and just the overall continued movement of it will irritate it. continuously taking it out and putting it back in, even under very sterile conditions, has a high likelyhood of causing a really gross infection. the sport is DEF worth it!!! and who wants a yucky belly button in summer? blah! good luck!!! :)

  7. well id suggest taking it out for now

and getting it re-done outside the rugby season

thts what i did with my ear, got it pierced when rugby season was over, in the summer holidays. then i could take it out when i wanted during rugby season and leave it out during matches

but right now, its either the piercing or rugby

  8. I've been playing rugby with a navel ring since I was 15 (and I'm 24) so I thought I'd throw out some ideas that work for me as I've tried them all...

    1. Wear some granny spandex shorts or pants that come up to your ribs or one of those girdley things. While this takes away from the s**y feeling of the ring, it will keep it from getting pulled. If you do that, you don't really even need the tape.

2.If you do want to tape it, tape a non-stick pad over the ring so the tape isn't pulling the ring every time you move- the ring will be able to move a little bit under the pad and that will actually be less irritating.

    Hope that helps!

  9. just take it out be for playing sports

  10. I would recommend taking it out. Try getting it re pierced when you are not playing and it has time to heal. If you put tape over it and such, it will still get hit, and hurt. Worst case it will get ripped out and no one wants that.
