  1. follow the one that yu do best using. if they tell you to set one way an you set a different way but it's legal then do it the way you no best, what harm could it posibly do if you are doing something in a way that you can play better and benifit your team best. now try to learn new ways just because it maybe will help you in the long run. but do what works best for you and helps you most! have fun!

  2. I would follow what the high school told you because if you plan on going to that high school... they are showing you what they want to see at try-outs.

  3. in volleyball all the coachs that you have will teach you diffenrent things. it means that you are learning all parts of te game and how to play it better. listne and use things from both coaches. it will make you a better player.

  4. You have to decide which one you want to participate more in, and not do the other one.  Unless you can keep two totally different sets of rules/techniques in your head.

It's like with different styles of martial arts -- sometimes you can master more than one, but usually you just wind up fighting against yourself and making it harder to learn anything.

  5. Do what your coach ask you to.  & remember, VB is a team sport.  Your team will be the most effective when everyone is doing their job, which is coordinate by ONE skilled person.  Unless your coach don't want his/her team to win, you should be running a good offence/defence scheme coached by your coach.

    Have fun.

  6. Stay with the one who is your coach at the time.  Doing things the "club" way will get you on the bench at your high school.  And vice versa.

I would also try talking with your high school coach and explain to them that you were taught differently and you will work hard learning their system.  Do not tell them that your club coach is right or you might not even make the team.  Most coaches always think their way is the only way.
