I play cricket for my collage i m 19 and 5'11 i want to increase my pace ..how can i do oot?? suggest me

i am 19 years old and i play cricket my line and length is excellent but inspite of the fact being tall and lanky i don have much pace deu to which i sometime get hit for runs. What can i do to increase my speed of bowling.. please suggest some possible ways... i can do at home..

  1. interval training. google it


  2. work out your arms some more. do less amount of weights, but more repetitions..

    example, do 50 pounds but do it 20 times instead of doing 70 pounds 10 times..

    that way u'll condition ur arms to be more toned and stronger... and then just practice your bowling everyday and see the differences.

  3. The best advice I can give you is that you should attend any clinic where you can get the hands on training then what we can provide you sitting on our easy-chairs.

  4. take long runups. run slowly and then increase ur running speed and bowl with 90 degree angle or 45 degree angle. and when ur going to bowl the bowl bend ur self as much as u can to get maximum speed in ur ball
