  1. Adrian Peterson.  He was a rookie last year and is still playing for a big contract. Broke multiple rushing records last year and shows big promise this year as well.

  2. Go with WRs @ the 1st and 2nd RND

    then turn on the autopilot.

you can allways get Some Kurt Warner type QB in the waiver wire.

And be smart on your RBs; who to start, who to sit. That makes or breaks your season.

Last year I got Anihilated For taking Tom Brady in the first RND, even with his record setting stats.

I'll wont make that mistake twice.

  3. Heres my order for you:

    1. Tomlinson

    2. S. Jackson

    3. trade down to pick 10 or so

    10. Westbrook, Peterson, Addai, Owens, etc.

Why? 20 years experience and winning the league the last 4 years.

  4. Alright, Grab Tom Brady in the first round.

Here's some advice, in the late rounds, try to grab Ricky Williams as a Reserve..

  5. depends on what pick you have and what kind of scoring system your league has.

  6. LaDanian Tomlinson, RB, San Diego Chargers

He is explosive and gets a lot a carries for the team.  Also good receiving RB.  Set a record for touchdowns a couple of years ago.  The team has big goals for the season after their letdown last year.  Getting the ball to their best player early and often is going to be the team's way of doing things.

Tom Brady, WB, New England Patriots

After breaking records last season but losing in the Super Bowl has left a bad taste in Brady's mouth and he and his teammates are going to be blowing people out again.  Randy Moss as his #1 target is a definite plus.

    Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Any who is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball, like Peterson, is a solid choice in fantasy football.  Minnesota should have a better defense this year which is good for the offense as it should be on the field more this year than last.

  7. Actually, who you pick in the first round of ANY NFL fantasy draft is based on league scoring.

Assuming you are playing Yahoo! basic, the stud RBs retain the most value, followed by the stud WRs and stud QBs. This is due to how many play available fantasy positions. You need two starting RBs, yet there's only a handful of teams that feature running backs capable of 100 yard plus, multi-TD games.

    That short list should include:

    LaDainian Tomlinson

    Adrian Peterson (MIN)

    Brian Westbrook

    Marion Barber III

    Joseph Addai

    Stephen Jackson

    Clinton Portis

    Ryan Grant

There are other backs that may do this, but either because of the "by-committee" approach, the lack of a quality passing game, or injury/rookie risk, the others may be found a bit later.

It also matters if you're picking last. I only listed eight backs, so if you want to dominate your league you may need to pick an elite WR or QB instead at this point to offset your inability to get an elite RB. Rather than putting a first-round pick on a second-round back, pick Randy Moss and Terrell Owens at 10 and 11. Yahoo! makes you start three wides, so having two studs would be great.

  8. Well, i would have to say to grab Tom Brady, you can't go wrong, every thing elso will evolve on it's on, you just need a great qb that will lead the team, and well after that everthing will be added on

  9. Well, it depend on your scoring system and where you select. In a standard scoring format, RB have the most value in the first round (Tomlinson, Peterson, Westbrook, Jackson, Addai). But QB aren't far behind (Brady, Manning, Romo). WR is proably better left for round two. Randy Moss might be worth considering late in round 1.

  10. Peyton Manning

  11. Whoever the best available running back is, unless there is an awesome QB still available.  Running backs consistently provide the highest point totals in most fantasy football settings.

For instance, Frank Gore of the 49ers is a good choice.  Although the 49ers aren't the best team, Gore almost always gains 100 yards a game and scores a couple TDs each year, if he's healthy.

  12. If you want to keep it safe, draft LT

If you want to take a risk you draft Adrian Peterson

If you have the 1st pick, by no means do you draft Tom Brady.  His recievers are worse and he will probably throw about 30 TD this year.

  13. Ravens, Joe Flacco
