I play for state and won the WA Open some time ago, should i try to become pro or stick to some other job?

  1. well it depends on what you really want to do. but if you won a state tennis tournament then there is no reason why you shouldn't try to go pro

  3. The phrases "some time ago" & "some other job" indicate that your level of motivation makes you a prime candidate for becoming a journeyman tennis player.

    If I were you, I would find a pro tennis coach that will tell you straight up what your potential is.  If you can make a living as a tennis player after some professional coaching, I would go for it, especially if you enjoy traveling.

    Being a tennis bum that gets to travel around the world, see the sights and meet interesting people sounds like a pretty good way to spend 10 years of your life.
