  1. Also work on your conditioning.  Particularly your quickness and agility.  If you have someone that just help you workout, have them point in one direction.  And you move while staying low and ready position in that direction.  They do not have to work out with you, just spend a few minutes getting you to move.  This is not a drill of sprinting.  You must maintain visual with the person helping you.  It will be just like you are watching the play and reading it to get to a certain spot on the court.

    Good luck

  2. I played the same position!! I would always hit the ball against the house and try to beat my score. Or you could get someone to practice with you, they could throw the ball different ways and you have to hit them back!!

Good luck and don't get hurt!!

  3. i like to go outside and practice bumping the ball into a basketball goal. It helps with hieght and aim!

  4. its hard to pass the ball by yourself so get a partner and have them toss you some balls and pass them up. also if you have dots (like the big ones you lay on the floor and use as a starting point) set them in a pattern like a compass with one up one down and one to the left and right and also one in the middle. start in the middle and shuffle to the right and touch the dot and then to the middle. then go to the left and back to the middle. then forward and to the middle. and back and to the middle. stay low and pretend to pass the ball at each point. it really helps out!

  5. If you are practicing by yourself, finding a wall to just pass off of is good for basic skills. Also, do leg strengthening, such as wall sits, squats or biking. Diving on a slip and slide can be fun and productive as well!

  6. The best thing to do for serving is to hit the ball just over the top of your garage door. Just make sure you only do that on wood garage doors.
