  1. I played in the front row with contacts so you'll be fine on the wing with them. Even if you don't normally wear disposable ones consider getting a bunch of them to play Rugby in because they are cheap and who cares if you lose one. Just keep the extras on the sideline where you can get them, fast/easy.

  2. buddy imust put that contats would be better that framed glasses.  There is no problem what so ever on that the mud flicked in the eyes gets a bit painful.

  3. don't worry contacts are totally fine, my friend jack wears contacts and he is a really physical rugby player. . . no problems with them yet so work away but make sure you keep spares with you in case they get knocked out!!Xx

  4. they are ok, just be careful. I don't know why goggles cannot be used. Maybe you should introduce them.

  5. Absolutely it is fine to wear contact lenses.  I've coached and played with a ton of guys that wear them.  Some of the best players in the world wear them in full international matches so they are good for any level.

You definately can't wear the goggles though, there is no hard plastic allowed other than on your boots or shin guards.

  6. Yes, they are fine.

I'd have a spare or two on the side line as you will loose one now and then, but rarely out on the wing.
