I plug my camera into my i mac and i photo shows my camera is empty even tho it has pictures on it wtf?

i have a fujifilm finepix z an one of the new i macs and iphoto says my camera is empty! i checked that the memory card is inplace and it is . please tell me WTF?

  2. Sometimes putting fresh batteries into the camera will correct this problem.
