  1. if you keep disconnectin git it will mess it up. . . Look on your itunes where it says Ipod and there should be a symbol click it and it will eject your ipod . . :)

  2. There should be a little grey and green icon in the lower-right hand of your screen.  Mouse over it and it'll say "safely disconnect hardware."  Double-click to open it.  Click on the device that's your ipod (you'll have to figure that one out) and click "ok" or "stop."  Select the device one more time from a list that pops up, and click "stop" again.

Your ipod should stop saying it's unwise to disconnect, and you can pull the plug.

If that somehow fails, turn off your computer.  Once the power is off, it's safe to disconnect.

You're getting this message because if you interrupt the connection while files are being read or transferred, they can become corrupted.  You're left with unreadable garbage instead of music, and in the worst instances the drive itself may be damaged.

  3. its syncing, depending on how many songs there are to be downloaded it will change in a few minutes. you can check the progress of the sync on itunes

  4. ITS JUST CHARGING AND IF NOT THEN IS SYCNING UR MUSIC ON BIT U CAN ALWAYS DICONNET IT MINE DOES THAT BUT IF IT FREEZES THEN PLAY WIT THE HOLD  BUTTON  THEN PRESS THE MEUN AND MIDDLE BUTTON TOGETHER

  5. that is because it is charging.... so in a couple of hours pull it out of the computer turn it on and check the batterie's level!

    :)

  6. well its either charging or syncing something so i wouldnt disconnect it even if others say to. it could damage your ipod like mine did because mine did the exact same thing and since i disconnected it, it corrupted and i had to refresh it (on itunes) and then sync ALL my songs back on to it. it really sucked... so no matter what do not disconnect it. otherwise if youre on itunes usually the only time you can disconnect it is if it says eject before disconnecting. or when its plugged in and youre on well whatever youre on itll say ok to disconnect. so just leave it in for now

  7. so don't disconnect it?

if it's frozen like that then reset it.

  8. When you plug it in, it's charging. When you do that, while it's plugged in you can't use your iPod. You can only use it once you unplug it.

  9. its supposed to be like that

    mine does that too

unless yours freezes reset it by pressing

menu and center button for 10 seconds

    and should reset

  10. It's just charging... you can disconnect it :P

  11. Do NOT disconnect your iPod from your computer while it says that!  You need to wait until it is finished either charging or syncing, whatever it is doing.  Once it is finished, it will tell you that it is OK to disconnect.  If you disconnect while it says not to, you risk damaging your iPod.

  12. it supposed to do that mine does all the time sure you can disconnect it don't worry
