I pod help! why wont i tunes show that ive plugged in my new ipod??

ok so i bought a new i pod but now that im trying to import my music it says that there no i pod connected what should i do so thaqt i can import my music on to my ipod??

i had the same problem. i dont personally know exactly what u have to do because my mom fixed this for me but i know u have to register ur ipod into ur computer so your computer reconizes it. it also may have to be completly charged. if this is your first ipod ever than thats all u have to do. u have to give ur ipod a name to get ur computer to reconize it and make sure its completly charged!!

heyy, i had the same problem, dont worry.  all you have to do is plug the ipod in and connect with itunes.  then your computer will recognize that there is a new software.  itunes should then tell you to register your ipod (a thing will come up giving you the option to make one now, or later).  so register it and that will be the ipod that your itunes recognizes afterward.  if this doesnt help you could call the apple helpline and they could probably help you with this problem in about 5 minutes.  i hope i helped. :)
