I pod itunes question

my pc needed a new hardrive so i lost everything on it...i have a ipod and had itunes...i dont want to get itunes again though becuase i think if i plug in my ipod it will refresh witht the new itunes and i wil have no songs beacuse i dont have any songs on my pc now??is there anyway to get the songs off the ipod and save them to pc before i download itunes???any help please??

no you can't sorry...ipods only sync with itunes but if you sync your ipod with another itunes you will lose all your music...its happened me before and its really annoying..

Connect your iPOD to your system. Dont run iTunes.

Download this software

and use it to rip all the songs back to your hard drive.
