I popped a HUGE blood vessel in my right wrist?

You know, the big one that goes up to your hand? i have a bruise the size of texas.... and i was just wondering, will that blood vessel ever form again? or will there just not be one there forever and ever?

  1. you need to go see a dr. i think blood vessles repair themselves.

It will repair itself.  The reason for the bruise is that popping the vein allowed a fair amount of blood under the skin as well as the bruising to the soft tissue as well.  It will be raised, turn black and possibly extend down to your fingers even before it starts to heal as the body resorbs the blood cells.

    to help with the pain and swelling, try icing, ace wraps, elevating your hand and resting it.  Anti-inflammatories such as motrin and aleve will help reduce the swelling and pain.

  3. It will repair, but keep ice on it and keep your hand elevated as much as possible.

  4. tbh. you need to see a doctor. its better to get a professional opinion.
