Can anybody explain how come a message I post in Yahoo groups never appear in the group's message board? I am already a member of the group in which I post my message and the group doesn't need any moderator's approval. How to make my message appear? As I finish writing my message I click the "post" button and a message saying "Your message has been posted" appear but when I look for my message in the list, it just not there. What have I done wrong?

  1. if you were moderated, a message would not say "Your message has been posted" it would say something to the effect- "your message requires approval" so thats not the reason

when your posting off the group like that, next time note the send to field and where it's going. some group settings could be set to send to poster than the group- there's a drop down box in that area anyway and if it's set to that one setting, the groups address should be in the drop down choice

only other thing, is it's being snagged by a faulty spam filter and there's no way for a member to know. if you double checked the above, contact the owner (address at bottom of group homepage) andask them to check the groups spam folder. many owners never check it

  2. Maybe this is the reason? :

"You sent an email from an email address other than the one you used to register, and your message was returned or ignored. (We do this to prevent spamming.)"

  3. New members are moderated precisely because spammers like you must be stopped.
