I posted first message to a group and the time was GMT. Followed answer to a similar Q and time still wrong.?

I went to mail/calendar/time zone and changed time zone to Arizona time. This is now correct in mail, but still shows GMT when I initiate another post. How do I change the time stamp on my group postings?
