I provide in home child care and I was thinking about providing care on the weekends once a month?

I was thinking about giving my clients a flyer at the beginning of the month stating which weekend I was willing to take the children for a day, to give the parents a break. What are your thoughts on this? I would still charge the same daily amount, but just to give the parents a chance to get out during the day to do whatever.

It's a great idea, and might get you more kids if you need them. Just make sure it's OK with your licensing agency. Around here you'd have to let them know.

I think it would be very appreciated then they could count on that one day a week to go to dinner with hubby or plan thngs they do not normally get to do because its hard to find sitters on weekends...(reliable ones0great idea..and appreciated im sure.
