  1. try zofran.

it's amazing, i obviously didn't use it for preg. lol but it is the best.

it's a prescription and very expensive, tho. it is usede by chemo patients, i didn't use it for that either.

    honestly tho try it

and post back if it works?

    hope i helped :]

also try ginger caplets, they work too, not sure if u can use them during pregnancy tho.

  2. are you pregnant?  go to the doctor and get meds for it.

    --------------------------

Einstein here....there are anti-nausea medicines that the doctor can give you.  i was asking if you are pregnant because people put questions in wrong categories ALL THE TIME.  "preacher's wife", my butt.  pretty rude if you ask me.  I'm answering your d**n question.

  3. Before you get out of bed literally, eat a few saltines. Try to eat smaller meals and drink sprite or 7up. Carbonation is a bicarbonate and will bind with the acid in your stomach nuetralizing it. Which doesn't mean you wont puke, but that it won't burn like it does coming out. You don't want to drink dark cokes, I had a doctor to tell me that you only want to drink clear liquids when sick when I had the stomach virus one time. But the sprite did help me feel better to as well. Don't drink a lot of fluid with a meal, that will make you more sick. try taking your prenantals at night. And take vitamin b6 with your prenatals. Don't eat a lot of meat at first and cut out on grease. Don't let your stomach get empty, because this always made me feel worst. And if you are to the point that you can't keep anything at all down, even water. Then you need to go to the doc. But usually morning sickness will end about your 12th week. It started fading my 10th week for me, and at 15wks I don't have a problem with it anymore. I hope that some of my suggestions helped. It helped with me. OH, and try sucking on peppermints after every meal. Peppermint is know to curve hunger and nausea i think. It worked with me. Well, congrats with the little one and when they are here it will have been all worth every single minute of it.

  4. my ob gave me a bright yellow  pill i forget the name of it but wow it works!!!

  5. I had a friend that puked continually while she was pregnant.  She could not take anything, because she would throw up.  So the Dr prescribed her a cream that she rubbed on the inside of her wrist.  The Rx in the cream was phenegrin.  You could ask the Dr about it.  It might help.  My friend was so excited about it.  She could finally eat!

  6. My wife was only able to each Granny Smith apples for about a month when she was pregnant and toast with nothing on it, and the occasional bagel. She also ate cheesy puffs once in a while. We lived in Asia for a while and got the Granny Smith idea from an old Chinese lady, and my wife said it really worked. Something about the sour taste maybe? But cut it up into small pieces and don't just eat it, suck on the cold pieces for a while and then eat them. Good luck, it will be over sooner than you think even though it feels like forever I am sure.

EDIT- Whoever marked this with a "thumbs down" is a fool. I am certain the sour apples work. If it was you, the questioner, then why are asking people for advice when you just criticize them? Be sick then, we don't really care.

  7. How far along are you? I threw up every day sometimes 3-4 times a day with my 1st baby. And it lasted for the first 6 months of pregnancy. I tried everything, nothing worked for me. Good luck.

  8. None of the "home remedies" worked for me.  At all.

Go to your doctor, get meds.  There are meds that are safe for pregnancy.  There is nothing worse than that feeling of being sick constantly; it is also not good for your baby if you dehydrate.

Hang in there - it does go away eventually.
