I purchased Nero 8 ultra

I purchased Nero 8 ultra edition, & when I tried to install it I was alerted it would'nt install because of a trial version of Nero 8 is on my computer. I've tried to uninstall it but the shell manager database is corrupt or missing. Could you please help me ,as I'm anxious to try the program that I purchased. Thank You.
