  1. Like so many questions here, there is a lot of information you have in your mind but have failed to convey to anyone wanting to provide a serious helpful answer.  I understand you are fishing for ideas, but your idea of "cool" and mine are most likely different.

My standard shotgun answer is; select a color from your accessories, from your dishes, or just snag a color you are fond of.  Use that color as an accent wall color or as a trim color.  Generally I prefer to have the largest wall be the accent color, otherwise it looks like an after thought.  An accent wall should, generally, be the wall that you be decorating the most with wall mounted items.

To make an accent color more pleasing, loose the white on the other walls and go with an off white ( such as antique white ) or a warm neutral such as a light cream or beige.  Depending on your tastes an accent wall can be just a few shades off your primary wall color or it can be a radical departure.

Now, gather in all the ideas offered by everyone and have fun.  This is all about you expressing yourself in your new home.

If you do not intend to repaint, then wallpaper is an option for one wall, as a wainscot, or even just as a ceiling border.

  2. to make are modern color its must have picture wall color cos it so impotent in modern style..its were make u space turn up and nice..picture wall means are mail wall in that space..like u paint u wall red color and at the picture wall it must be paint with diffrent red and more lightly cos its were drag people to see it first place when they come to u place..modern style is are simply style don't have to many staff inside it.and the color must be match with u staff that u what to put in..best of luck

  3. depending on your personality. dark colors are in right now for kitchens with the stainless appliances.  living rooms a light neutral or pastel color such as yellow or cream such as an off white - these colors create a relaxing exciting environment. bedrooms need to be calm colors such as browns, maroons, and greens. it creates a calm relaxing comfortable environment.

  4. personality totally plays a role here.

Some would opt for a rust, navy or even orange on the walls, totally up to you

BUT if you have smaller windows or have stuff that wont let much light in, I would suggest that you go for a non dark color - so that it wont look like a basement!
