I then purchased Jewel Quest II and it will not allow me to play; it keeps saying there is a problem

read the installation guide carefully and then reload.

u might need to dawn load certain program files from the web.

Check the system requirements on the game and see if you have everything it requires. If that doesn't work check your security settings on your computer.

I can't tell from your description though, do you mind adding exactly what your computer says?

You may not have something installed for your new computer

if your new computer is a WINDOWS VISTA then maybe that game was invented before that even came out--so it might not be programmed for it.

I myself have a computer game I had to throw out as it was made before WINDOWS XP! lol

Many pre-vista games will run just fine in administrator mode.  I'd also suggest going to the games website and seeing if there are any suggestion there for vista users..
