I purchased globe cedars and am wondering if it's too late to plant them. ?

  1. I would keep them well watered for now and plant them in the Fall.


  2. Most trees are dormant or at least less active in their growth in cold weather. I would think you could still plant them now and, perhaps, mulch around them for some protection over the winter. They should be able to do some root growth between now and spring which will make them stronger overall.

  3. It is a good time to plant them. Get them in the ground as soon as possible and keep them very well watered until the ground freezes up.

  4. Nope, you're good!  Fall is a great time to plant.
