  1. Well if it aint broke!

  2. I agree with Honest Abe. My mother used Soda Crystals, Borax, White Vinegar and Bicarbonate of Soda for all cleaning round the house even in the laundry.

I still use them to this day and save a fortune in cash as they are a fraction of the cost of all the fancy spays, potions and powders on sale today.

  3. Nope. Still do the floors on my hands and knees. The only way to get those pesky corners clean.

  4. Mop and Bucket is the best.  You gotta get down and dirty with your dirt.

My mother had a Cleaning Potion recipe

    1/3 cup  Ammonia

    1/3 cup  Vinegar

    3 T  Baking Soda

    1/2 gallon  Water

This is safe for any and EVERYTHING.

This will make things sparkling clean without the bleach spots.

  5. I am not like Yahoo. If it ain't broke, I don't bother to fix. I have always used the good ol' fashioned bucket and mop and always will...M

  6. You cant clean properly without  hot water and disinfectant, I went back to a bucket and mop after trying various new stuff, all they did was leave my floor sticky and manky looking, you cant beat a good slop and mop for clean results!

  7. I bought the vileda mop but with the sponge head.  I then buy the floor wipes (dettol) and instead of using the actual mop head, when I mop the floors I just lay a dettol floor wipe on the floor, mop it, then throw away the soiled wipe in the bin!  My mop head has lasted me forever as it is never used!  Great when you have dogs as I do as you do not have to use the same mop head to do the rest of your hard floor surfaces as they are totally disposable!

  8. i have always used a bucket and mop with good hot bleach cleans the floors well, never thought the other ways seemed that hygienic

  9. I like many, many folks were "lured" in by the SWIFFERS and such but, the mops didn't seem to clean as well and the pads, liquids etc.. Are very expensive so I went back to the tried/true... I LOVE the LIBMAN WONDER MOP!  It's been around forever- it's lightweight, has removeable heads for easy washing in the machine and it's NOT expensive!

  10. Uggh, never, I use a swifter!!!
