I put a car payment in but it says it takes one busniess day to go in after 8pm. Will it be considered late?

No, all major lenders have a 10 day grace period before late fees kick in and to actually be reported as late the payment must be made 30 days after the due date.

If you made the payment online after 8PM Friday in whatever timezone that refers to, it might show up by Monday morning.

It is easy to end up in a late payment situation if a due date falls on a weekend.  I tripped up when there was a bank holiday on a Monday and the payment was not credted until Tuesday.
