Question:

I put batteries in water and...?

...and after 2 days on the bottom of the flask appeared orange thing and I stirred it and water became orange. Is it acid or what is it?

P.S.

they weren't remote control batteries. they were wrist-watch batteries

  1. actually wrist batteries contain material which can restore charges for a long time so that our watch can function smoothly.it is also coated with stainless coating when we place it in water then Fe and Al present on the surface of battery form oxides by getting oxygen from water and be iron oxide are orange in color they r not soluble in water and set down on the bottom
