  1. no not at all...simply turn it over or take a rag or whatever and get all of it out that you can...fill it up with gas and go...it may smoke a little at first...but really ...a small amount of diesel is good for it..good luck!

  2. Gas push mowers do have fuel tanks , thats how they hold gas....  as for this scenario , you should drain the tank, fule line, and the carburetor (sp) if possible. Then remove the plug , and spray a few shots of CARB CLEANER into the  spark plug hole. pull the cord a few times to make sure the cylnder is clear of any remaining diesel , and put the plug back in . No need to change it if it stil works. If the mower actually ran while the diesel was in it , you may want to consider changing the oil . If you check the oil , and can clearly smell the diesel , should change it . If not , move on ....  Easiest way to drain the carb is to just unscrew the bowl....

Engines are more durable then you may think , should be no long term issues

  3. just dump it out clean the fuel filter if it has one clean the plug and crank it

  4. Interesting, push mowers don't have a fuel tank so I wonder how this is possible!

  5. Push mower with diesel, Guess if this can occur you can start mowing your driveway.

  6. Absolutely not.  Just drain it out and rinse it out with some gasoline.  Remove the spark plug and pour some gas in and rinse it out also.

Clean the plug and put in fresh gas.  May be a little hard to start at first.

  7. NO,empty the tank, remove the plug and put a new one in,spray starting fluid into combustion chamber or carb. intake, fill tank with gas and start it up.
