They are contacts that you can wear for like a week or two as long as you take them out each night. I put them in their little case full of solution about a year ago. I am going camping soon and wanted to wear them again for a day or two instead of my expensive glasses. You think that would be okay? Or is that asking for trouble?

  1. no no asking for trouble threw them away there is a reason they say threw away on the box, try to go with out your glasses or get protective goggles to go over your glasses

  2. the solution has probably evaporated by now and the lenses are likely stuck to the case.  bad to go.  :/

did you save your old pair of glasses?  wear those on the trip, you won't care if you lose them or scratch them, etc.

  3. I am no expert, but I wouldn't try it.  A year is a long time, and I wouldn't risk it to your eyes.  Have fun on your camping trip!

  4. Please do not do that to your eyes. First of all, I'd be surprised if the contacts are even still there and haven't evaporated. But do you know what happens to your eyes when expired contacts are in them? Your eyes have to strain much harder to see clearly and you only end up doing damage to them. In fact, you'll probably worsen your vision and thus have to get a stronger prescription- why go through all that trouble just for a few days? Get new contacts- you can get them delivered to your house very quickly these days. And your eyes will feel so much better in new, clean lenses. Have fun on your trip!

  5. No, dont wear it again. Throw it out asap.

  6. I wouldn't try that without asking your eye doctor. It doesn't sound safe.

  7. Oh dear me!! NO! u might catch an infection, the solution has probably dried out too *rolleyes* lol!!
