I put in a new water faucet recently in the bathroom?

it will not turn off by the handle, I have to shut it off at the valve.......Any ideas?

It's a bad faucet.....Take it back and exchange it......

When you close the angle stops some junk could have come loose and now is stuck in the faucet.

faulty faucet, cartridge installed improperly,debis in /around valve seats try flushing vigorously moving  faucet handle hot to cold on and off a few times to dislodge any foreign matter  if that doesn't work return faucet
