a wireless connection at my house, and i already tried going to Starbucks and MacDonald's to use there wireless connection, but it stops because of some error, my real question is that can i connect my psp to the Internet without using a wireless connection. like can i just use a usb cord to connect to the internet, if so how?

There's no way to physically connect the PSP to a modem or router.  It's wireless or nothing.

I think Starbucks charges for their wireless, and I'm not sure about McDonald's.  You might want to try a hotel lobby or local coffee house, or maybe a friend who has an unsecured network to see if your PSP connects.

As for the WMA problem, it's possible (if you're running custom firmware) to enable WMA playback without a wireless connection.  If you're running Sony's firmware, you're out of luck.
