I put my black molly in a floating hatchery but I dont know when she's going to give birth!?

how many water changes should i do and how much water should i change to make it less stressful for the female? and when is it going to give birth? oh and its a black mollie so how do i know when its about to give birth?

How long ago did you notice she was pregnant? Mollies (especially mine), are very stressed when they're put in a little floating box. Mine will never give birth in them and stay in them for weeks at a time even. Do you have any other fish in the tank? Just take her out of the box. She may not even give birth for awhile. Make sure you have some floating plants and lots of places for the fish (mother and future babies) to hide. And keep an eye out for little swimming specks.
