  1. Yeah, your going to get brush strokes no matter what. Use a roller. It gives it an even texture without the brush strokes!


  2. yes but you could also be using the wrong brush or if you're using home depot primer you'll see the strokes, you gotta use a soft brush and NOT home depot primer.  

  3. Better use a roller, its faster. Of course if your saving up on paint a brush might take a while and the the result is not as good.  

  4. It is normal, but there are ways to minimize them. The first way would be to use a roller, it is easier and wont leave brush stokes. If that isn't an option.

    Most likely, you are using a brush that isn't made for the type of paint you are using.

    If you are painting with acrylic paint, you'll need a synthetic bristle brush but if painting with oil, will need a natural bristle brush....

    Another cause may be that you are either putting your paint on too thin or too thick...
