  1. As someone who has hired for positions like dishwasher before, I think what is most important is your commitment to your job. Being a dishwasher isn't glamorous, it's a lot of hard work. People don't necessarily treat you with respect. Can you handle that and still do a great job? It is work no one else wants to do. Can you show up on time and work quickly and be reliable to show up to every shift, or are you likely to call in sick 5 minutes before your shift because you want to go to a party or go hang out with your friends? Do you have reliable transportation? If something happens to your car, can you still get to work by taking the bus or carpooling or getting a ride from someone?

If you are a young person, your employer will first be concerned about your reliability first. If you are a little older the employer will be concerned about why you want to work at an entry level position, what is your background?

You can move up from the dishwasher position too, if you do a good job. They may even ask you to do a little prep as part of your job. Best of luck !!

  2. Hey? What did you say? Save it for your mobile. You don't need to save on words on here.

Previous experience, education, flexibilty, age. (if you are under 16. Health & safety)

  3. I'm not sure that the qualifications for being a dishwasher are very high ..... they might even overlook the fact that you can't spell!

  4. can you wash dishes?

do you fear dish pan hands?
