  1. I agree with the other posters, new tires may seem a bit harsher. Just give it time and relax, everything will be fine. Shocks on that should last at least 80k miles.

  2. could be the type of tire... might be they have to much air in them or not enough... does it pull one way or another..... as for how one knows about shocks or struts they will leak so they will have oil on them or there will be alot of dirt sticking to them is a good sign ... wouldnt be stiff... really thats a good sign bad shock you will bounce and have roll when going around curves alignment wil cause it to pull off to one side or the other balance will be a shaking when at speed....id say you got a stiffer type tire or a better tire than what you had and to answer shocks last about 65,000 miles but it depends a lot on the roads you drive.... really if you feel its not right take it back.. have one them ride a long with you or test drive it to find what your feeling

  3. new tires are stiffer than old....struts shocks should last 80 to 100K

  4. They probably inflated the tires to max pressure. You need to deflate them to the recommended pressure for your vehicle. Max pressure is for when they have the maximum load, and you probably only have half that on each tire.

  5. check to air pressure  read on the sidewall of the tire it will tell you the max pressure. they could have over inflated they making for a rough ride.

  6. Check the air pressure in the tires to make sure they are not over-inflated.  The correct inflation pressure for your vehicle is listed on the Vehicle Information Tag inside the drivers door frame.

  7. The pressure in your old tires had probably gotten pretty low, so you're feeling a difference.  Also, the higher the sidewall, the softer the ride.  You've got till 65k mi on your struts.
