  1. Obviously, you brush up your resume and hit the bricks, but before you do, think about what you really want.  Analyze what made you unhappy at your last job and look for one that will meet your needs...emotional, financial, creative...everything!  Life is too short to waste doing something you don't enjoy!

  2. indeed.com I think is the most resourceful website for finding a job.

  3. Network Network Network!  Go through friends and family and see if any of them can pull strings for you.  If not, then check on college alums if you are in college or a college grad.  If these don't work, job fairs and online employment sites work well also.

  4. well for future reference, you should wait till you have another job lined up before you quit the one your at!! its common sense ya know? not blaming you i mean some people dont realize how important it is to do that..cuz the job market isnt great right now..its just good to keep in mind..but other things you can do, is just maybe check monster.com i know a lot of people who have found career paths on there..or you can check classifieds of course..but im not sure how old you are..if your a young kid looking for a small job..really the best thing to do is just walk around your town and apply everywhere..fast food places, icecream shops etc, those are always hiring you know, especially supermarkets like Shop Rites, or Stop and Shops and the like..try something like that..apply even if they dont need anybody

  5. Put a resume on Monster.com. Or Search Craigslist.com in your area.

make sure you have an up to date Resume and make some calls to any Jobs that you find interesting.   It wont be easy, but you will find something..

  6. I've had excellent luck in the past with dropping off my resume in person. Every time I've done this I was interviewed by the boss before I left, but keep in mind I was visiting smaller companies. In a larger company this might not hold true. Anyway, it is important to be dressed professionally and ready to interview any time you are going to be visiting a potential employer. I also suggest doing some research on the company, make notes of key items and review the notes before going inside the employer's building.

  7. search a job in the internent...

  8. WOAH! Totally know what you mean,  i just did part time jobs while i searched on the net in newspapers for a permanent job i would be interested in.

  9. good on you!! go ask around the places you would like to work, honestly emailing and phoning is a waste of time if you need a job asap, plus it shows you'v got the balls to ask :)

  10. monster.com

    careerbuilder.com

    careerlink.com

    craigslist.com

    the newspaper
