the doctor i worked for had was real bad toward me she would yank things from my hand, slam door in my face and just be down right cruel i just got fed up with her

  1. No, unemployment is paid if you get laid off, or fired for reasons other than misconduct.  You quit - you aren't eligible.


  2. You should have beat her with a pipe..nah just kidding.  u can only collect unemployment if you are fired or laid off OR IF YOU QUIT FOR A GOOD REASON

  3. It depends.  You have to show that you quit for "good cause" caused by your employer.  Your reason for quitting must be strong enough to show that quitting was the only reasonable thing to do.

    Did you try to work it out with the doctor?  Did you file any complaints?  The unemployment office is very strict about this, and would be reticent to give you benefits if you hadn't tried to resolve the problem.  

  4. NO... people who quit can't collect unemployment.

  5. Im not sure if the unemployment laws are the same in every state but where i live if you quit your job here you can't well you can but you have to go before the board and give reason and if they feel it is good enough they will grant it to you.

  6. where i live you have to get fired to get unemployment
